Winding River Village is a 31 unit housing facility in Tolland, CT for persons age 62 and older, built by Tolland Senior Housing, Inc., a non-profit organization of community volunteers. Elderly Housing Management, an experienced non-profit organization is the property management company. Winding River Village is located on rural RT.74 in Tolland, on tranquil site of historic and archaeological significance, ?? miles from the Tolland Green.
The building was built in 2002 and has two stories with an elevator. All apartments are one bedroom with a separate kitchen, bathroom and combined living and dining room. The apartments are designed especially for seniors with an emergency call system and full wheelchair accessibility, should it be needed. Rents are 30% of monthly adjusted household income and include all utilities except telephone, cable TV and air conditioning.
Several attractive common areas are provided to allow group activities for residents. The onsite staff is committed to working with residents to make this building a comfortable, active and secure home.
